Here you can see the Great axe abilities we’ve gone with as well as the passives we took. These passives were chosen to maximize critical damage and health return. We’ve also taken passives and abilities that make it impossible to escape us once a battle begins.

Here are the war hammer abilities and passives we have taken. Here we’ve taken mostly the crowd crusher line which specializes in crowd control and AOE damage. It also brings a ton of life back in for damage we deal with any of the crowd crusher abilities.

Attributes
Here are what my attributes look like right now. The intent was to unlock the first passive node in constitution early on, while pumping almost all of our points into strength as both of our weapons scale off of strength. In hindsight i could have put way fewer points into con as you will get a lot of gear that gives strength AND con, meaning you’ll get that first passive node almost for free.
Gear
As for the gear for this New World Great Axe PVE and PVP build, you’re going to be seeking out light or medium gear with the following stats
- Primary Stat: Strength
- Secondary Stat: Constitution
